Autoclose: 1 -->\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-918r1k-e13a030dc5e9865e4e98abeaa17e698c\">\n.flex_column.av-918r1k-e13a030dc5e9865e4e98abeaa17e698c{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-918r1k-e13a030dc5e9865e4e98abeaa17e698c av_two_third  avia-builder-el-8  el_after_av_two_fifth  el_before_av_one_third  first flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding  '     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-k6t9u9qf-8aa8302f23db86c480899c894fe2b675 '  ><div class='avia_textblock' ><p>Epilepsie, gekennzeichnet durch eine chronische Neigung zu Anf\u00e4llen, ist die h\u00e4ufigste chronische neurologische Erkrankung im Kindesalter, von der 0,5 bis 1 % aller Kinder betroffen sind. <sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Epilepsie kann von einem kurzen Aufmerksamkeitsverlust oder Muskelzucken bis hin zu schweren und l\u00e4ngeren Kr\u00e4mpfen variieren, und kann mit erh\u00f6hter Sterblichkeit, Anfall bedingten Verletzungen, negativen psychischen Auswirkungen sowie einer Beeintr\u00e4chtigung der Lebensqualit\u00e4t einhergehen. <sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Ziel der Behandlung der Epilepsie ist es, Anf\u00e4lle zu minimieren oder zu kontrollieren; dennoch werden bis zu 30 % der Kinder nicht anfallsfrei. <sup>3<\/sup> Die Behandlung der Epilepsie sollte nicht nur unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung des Anfallstyps oder des Epilepsiesyndroms, sondern auch unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung von Medikamenten, die gleichzeitig genommen werden (Komedikationen), Begleiterkrankungen (Komorbidit\u00e4ten), m\u00f6glichen Nebenwirkungen, Lebensstilfaktoren und den Vorlieben des Kindes und der Familie individualisiert werden.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl es viele zugelassenen Arzneimittel f\u00fcr die Behandlung von Epilepsie bei Erwachsenen gibt, wurden nur wenige systematisch bei Kindern untersucht und eine Anwendung ohne explizite Zulassung bei Kindern (sogenannte Off-Label Anwendung) von Antiepileptika ist \u00fcblich. <sup>4<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Proveca entwickelt speziell f\u00fcr die Anwendung bei Kindern geeignete Formulierungen von Antiepileptika, um die Anfallkontrolle und Lebensqualit\u00e4t zu verbessern.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Aaberg KM, et al.
