Origin of the Academy of Children’s Art

Proveca for Children Academy of Children’s Art has been established (June 2022) to engage children with complex needs and encourage them to express themselves freely using any medium they choose. We will publish all artworks submitted to us here and each participant will receive a personalised diploma from Proveca for Children.

Francesco Giuradei (Proveca’s Italy Country Manager): “All children are natural artists. They only need encouragement to be able to express their thoughts and feelings without formal instructions.”

If you’re reading this and you work with children / have children with complex needs that may want to take part, we would love to hear from you

This space is dedicated to them and to all those who want to be amazed!

Academy of Children’s Art: children from The Children’s Trust School

We are piloting the Academy with The Children’s Trust

Over 2020 – 2022 we have been working with The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust give children and young people with brain injury and neuro-disability the opportunity to live the best life possible by providing specialist rehabilitation, education and community services across the UK. Here’s an example of the wonderful work The Children’s Trust have created with the children they support.

The Children’s Trust School use art as a medium to engage and motivate learners.

The children have so much fun creating art with a spinning machine adapted from drills; making exploding paint bombs to create wonderful pictures;  using a glitter ball motor to make a cup pourer for acrylic paint pourings; and much, much more.

If you would like to be inspired, please watch the video clips below to see this art in action.
